Oscar came downstairs with a big smile on his face and something behind his back.  I asked to see what it was and with a laugh he showed me.  I managed to keep a straight face. 

"Oscar what is that?"

"A monster."

"But why is he giving the finger?"

"Because that's the kind of monster he is."

"Not cool Oscar.  We don't do that.  If you do that at school you'll get kicked out.  Put that in the recycling right now."

"But why?"

"What do you mean why?  I just told you why."

"Aww....  Can I draw another kind of monster after?"

"Of course."

Regional Meet

According to my stopwatch Emma beat her PB in all three events at the St Lambert regional swim meet.  Oscar and I couldn't be prouder.
