Yes, our little Emma is 6 now. Crazy. She acts like an older kid - she is the most responsible 6-yr-old you`ve ever met. She makes her lunches, remembers messages from school, even looks out for her Papa when he`s at risk of straining his back...

It`s amazing how efficient kindergarteners are at unleashing the raw energy of icing sugar. We had a few near meltdowns...

Skating calamity

Oscar's first time skating this year ended at ER. Yes, he was wearing a helmet. No, he had no visor. He's a trooper, though, and took it much better than his Papa did. (Especially the 7 hour wait at emergency.)
